CELEBRATE WITH A WELLNESS WEEKEND

The boozy hen do is dead. Long live the wellness weekend.

Celebrate the bride-to-be with a hen weekend rooted in nature, connection and seriously good living. Our hen experiences are designed for groups who want something more meaningful than a blurry night out – think fresh air, deep chats, incredible food and that post-sauna glow.

Set in the classic Great British countryside and along Dorset’s spectacular coastline, your weekend is all about slowing down and tuning in. For those who love the water, there are gentle wild dips and confidence-boosting swims. For non-swimmers, there’s just as much magic: beachside saunas, coastal walks, paddleboarding, yoga, sunset moments, country pubs and plenty of prosecco if that’s your thing.

Food is a highlight – not an afterthought. Expect delicious breakfasts, relaxed lunches and beautiful dinners, all taken care of, so no one’s worrying about cooking or washing up.

Every hen weekend starts with our tried-and-tested itinerary, then gets shaped around your group by us and the organiser. Whether that’s a chartered boat trip to Old Harry Rocks, an afternoon in the sauna, a long walk followed by a pub fire, or a balance of everything – we’ll create a bespoke weekend that feels effortless, nourishing and unforgettable.

This is a hen do everyone can say yes to.

EXAMPLE ITINERARY
we can build something bespoke with you!

Day 1: Sauna, Sea Air & First Bubbles

Arrive at your beautiful countryside accommodation from 1:00 PM, where a warm drink and a slice of homemade cake will be waiting to welcome you. Unpack, settle in, and let the weekend begin.

Once you’re relaxed and ready, we’ll head to the Studland Bay Nature Reserve for a beachside sauna experience. This is a super gentle introduction to wild swimming, with optional dipping for those who fancy it — absolutely no experience required.

Warmth, sea views, laughter, and your first glass of chilled Prosecco make this the perfect way to ease into the weekend. Swim, dip, or simply soak up the atmosphere — it’s entirely your choice.

Day 2: Iconic Dorset Moments

Early Morning | Sunrise Dip (Optional)
For early risers, start the day with a refreshing sunrise dip as the sky lights up over the coast. Calm, quiet, and unforgettable. (Sleeping in is also very welcome.)

Breakfast | Slow & Nourishing
Enjoy a hearty, beautifully prepared breakfast to fuel the day ahead. Choose from favourites such as a full English, Eggs Royale, Eggs Benedict, or avocado on toast.

Late Morning | Choose Your Adventure
Your day’s main experience is tailored to your group, with iconic Dorset options such as a chartered boat trip to Old Harry Rocks – hop aboard a private powerboat and cruise out to one of the Jurassic Coast’s most famous landmarks, soaking up sea air and spectacular views.

Afternoon | Explore or Unwind (Optional)
The afternoon is all about choice:

A guided walk to Corfe Castle village, with its thatched cottages, chocolate-box houses and welcoming pubs

or

Yoga in the rustic barn at Kingston Country Courtyard

Or simply relax, chat, and enjoy the surroundings

Evening | Food, Sunset & Magic
Enjoy a fabulous chef-cooked dinner at Kingston Country Courtyard — think dishes such as sea bass, gnocchi, burgers or lamb chops, all served in a relaxed, beautiful setting.

After dinner, we’ll take a gentle walk to one of Dorset’s best sunset spots — the kind even Instagram hasn’t caught onto yet. Golden light, fresh sea air, and a perfect moment to end the day.

Day 3: A Unique Sauna Send Off

Morning | Slow Start & Fuel
We’ll begin the day with another hearty, nourishing breakfast — the perfect fuel for one final, gentle adventure and your last chance to soak up the calm of Dorset’s coast and countryside.

Late Morning | A Wellness Send-Off
Before heading home, enjoy a final warming beachside sauna. Gentle dipping is encouraged, but never required — a relaxed, soul-filling moment to reflect, laugh, and savour the weekend together.

Midday | Cake & Goodbyes
No Wild Swimming Co weekend would be complete without one last slice of our signature homemade cake — a sweet, celebratory finish to your time with us.

We’ll say our goodbyes at 1:00 PM, parting ways with full hearts, salt-kissed skin, and memories soaked in Dorset’s magic.

FAQ

Is there a wetsuit policy?

We’ll often recommend a wetsuit, they will keep you warmer for longer and you’ll be more buoyant. We’ll be swimming in some iconic locations, wearing a wetsuit may mean that you can enjoy the swim for a little longer than you are used to. However we understand that it’s not for everyone, therefore wetsuits are always optional.

Is there a tow float policy?

When we swim on a journey, we do require all swimmers to wear tow floats. However they are also compulsory for dips in depth. This helps us manage the group and be super visible which in turn improves safety.

How do you manage safety?

All of our Guides are beach lifeguards and first aiders, all of our swim locations are carefully reccied, risk assessed and led by guides who are experienced in that location.

Are there any ability requirements?

Our swim retreats are ideally suited for complete beginners who want to try wild swimming, they are also carefully planned so as improvers and intermediate swimmers are challenged. So, come along for a float around, or complete along and swim up to 2km per day. We’ll have at least one swim coach on each of our trips.

What do I need to bring?

You don’t need to spend hundreds on specialist kit to come on a Wild Swimming Retreat, but you will need a tow float (which you can buy when you’re here!), a towel or robe and footwear that you can wear in the water. We can talk through all the posh bits and pieces on the market when you’re with us.

Do you track distances, times and temperatures?

We try not to get too hung up on times, distances and temperatures. We are just having a wonderful time in iconic places with great people. However if improving is your plan, we can help you swim up to 2km per day. We’ll also have a swim coach on every trip.
