Join us for a four-day escape at Elizabeth Castle, exclusively hired by us, on our own Island on Jersey. Our exclusive hire includes travel on the ferries between St Helier and Elizabeth Island (although you may have the option to swim!), access to private beaches, as well as fabulous meals from Chef Mel. This accommodation is 100% the most interesting location you'll ever stay at in the UK!


Explore every corner of this emerald isle, with swims and dips carefully planned to suit all weather conditions. From rugged northern shores to pristine southern sands, you’ll experience Jersey's finest, all with breathtaking views of France.


Your retreat includes transfers (at set times), transport, guided swims, dips, hikes, morning and evening meals, and, of course, homemade cake—every single day!

ITINERARY (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

Day 1: Welcome to Jersey

We'll pick you up from Jersey Airport at 1pm. We’ll drop you back after your trip to ensure a smooth return.

 

Your adventure begins with a visit to Le Havre de Pas' tidal pool for a swim clinic. Come prepared with any aspects you'd like to fine-tune with our expert Open Water Swim Coaches.

 

Afterward, enjoy a wholesome dinner before heading out for a sunset dip at on of our private beaches.

Day 2: Hidden coves & crystal waters

Start your day with a soul-stirring sunrise dip, followed by warm, buttery croissants to ease you into the morning.

 

After breakfast, we’ll head to one of Jersey's most breathtaking coves for a point-to-point swim, a beach waterfall—or, weather permitting, explore the awe-inspiring Cathedral Caves.

 

In the afternoon, join us for an optional walk in nature, with windswept views and fresh sea air, ending the day in a cosy country pub.

 

Back at base, tuck into a homemade dinner before gathering in the lounge for an inspiring sea safety and swim planning talk to prepare you for future adventures.

Day 3: Sunrise magic & coastal wonders

We'll visit a remote sandy beach featuring a stunning waterfall, natural arches, and endless golden sands.

 

For lunch, dine with breath taking views overlooking the bay before embarking on a scenic walk to the iconic La Corbière lighthouse, accessible only at certain tides.

 

Round off the evening with a delicious final meal, followed by our Tame the Tides talk—an engaging and informal lecture on understanding tides, rips, and waves.  

Day 4: Farewell swim

After breakfast, venture out to another secluded cove with the option to swim around a picturesque island—one final dip to round off your retreat.

 

We’ll ensure you’re returned to your transport hub with a head full of memories and a belly full of homemade cake. We'll drop you back to the airport for 1pm.

RETREAT FAQ

Is there a wetsuit policy?

We’ll always recommend a wetsuit, they will keep you warmer for longer and you’ll be more buoyant. We’ll be swimming in some iconic locations, wearing a wetsuit may mean that you can enjoy the swim for a little longer than you are used to. However we understand that it’s not for everyone, therefore wetsuits are always optional.

Is there a tow float policy?

When we swim on a journey, we do require all swimmers to wear tow floats. However they are also compulsory for dips in depth. This helps us manage the group and be super visible which in turn improves safety.

How do you manage safety?

All of our Guides are beach lifeguards and first aiders, all of our swim locations are carefully reccied, risk assessed and led by guides who are experienced in that location.

Are there any ability requirements?

Our swim retreats are ideally suited for complete beginners who want to try wild swimming, they are also carefully planned so as improvers and intermediate swimmers are challenged. So, come along for a float around, or complete along and swim up to 2km per day. We’ll have at least one swim coach on each of our trips.

What do I need to bring?

You don’t need to spend hundreds on specialist kit to come on a Wild Swimming Retreat, but you will need a tow float (which you can buy when you’re here!), a towel or robe and footwear that you can wear in the water. We can talk through all the posh bits and pieces on the market when you’re with us.

Do you track distances, times and temperatures?

We try not to get too hung up on times, distances and temperatures. We are just having a wonderful time in iconic places with great people. However if improving is your plan, we can help you swim up to 2km per day. We’ll also have a swim coach on every trip.

How does the airport pick up/ drop off work?

We'll pick you up and drop you off at Jersey Airport, it may be a 'bags of laps' kind of journey, so if you aren't a light traveller, you may wish to hire a car and enjoy the freedom.

What a lovely weekend! I felt very looked after from start to finish. Rich, Mel, Nicole and McCartney are all so welcoming. Great company, food, accommodation and what an experience visiting the sauna and lake at Corfe Castle! Saturday was perfect in every way, from the sunrise and croissants on the beach, to the saunas, walk and ending the afternoon in a cosy pub. Enjoyed every minute of the weekend. Thank you!

Mel and Richard truly pulled out all the stops to make it bespoke, comfortable, and as special as possible. A real highlight was the nighttime sauna and sea dip at Lulworth Cove. I’d highly recommend it.

I had the most incredible weekend in Snowdonia — a truly magical experience from start to finish. The wild swimming in the lakes and waterfalls was absolutely exhilarating, and every dip felt like a little adventure of its own. The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole trip had such an energising, feel-good vibe. The accommodation was wonderful — warm, welcoming, and so cosy after a day outdoors. The beds were super comfy, and the whole place had that relaxed, homely atmosphere that makes you instantly feel at ease. The home-cooked food was delicious (and plentiful!), and every meal felt like it had been made with real care. What really made the weekend special, though, were the people. I met such amazing, like-minded souls — everyone was friendly, supportive, and up for a laugh. It was one of those trips that leaves you feeling refreshed, inspired, and grateful. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more — perfect for anyone looking to connect with nature, meet great people, and make unforgettable memories.

The Watkins Path waterfall experience was truly stunning. Swimming beneath those falls is something I’ll never forget. It was genuinely the experience of a lifetime, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for adventure, connection, and a bit of magic in nature.
